Me and my son went I’m 60 years old not knowing what to expect. We had an awesome time and plan on going to more. We believe in you and what stand for we are from Chucky Tn
I was camped next to the Nolichucky in Chucky, 4 days before Helene hit. Thank God I was home by then. I also ran into folks at RRP I had met that trip from Erwin TN..small world
This event was amazing. I met a lot of awesome people and made some new life long friends. The Sunday service was such a blessing as well. My wife was one of the people to get baptized
I have been having dreams for a while, God has been showing me strategies/ ideas/ projects to kick off in my small country community that build industry, create finance but more importantly build community. Still need the seed cash but I am excited by seeing what you are doing and full of hope for this new season. Travelling through US with my family now at St Louis headed to see the Ark at Williamstown next
All this was born when Chris sat in his truck after coming out of the hospital and called out to God. He brought Draven into his life and through that God took him to the top of the charts. Each of you who God brought into his Chris's life was preparing for Rural revival Project. Had a friend who lost every thing in Hurricane Helene. Survived with only the clothes on her back and no shoes. They are determined to bring their place back. So many perished. So thankful Chris went there and was so touched by the wonderful "Nobodies' to start Rural Revival Project. I love that you wrote "God Smiled" He sure does when He moves in mysterious ways His wonders to perform. Blessings to each of the 30 people baptized in Spruce Pine. Praise the Lord! He fashions all His bright designs and works His sov'reign will! May the Lord bless each step forward in bringing Rural Revival!
Me and my best doggie/best-friend Brody had the most amazing time in Spruce Pine, North Carolina at the Rural Revival Project. Taking our love from The Shenandoah Valley, of Virginia, to spread smiles and joy. It was phenomenal to say the very least. May the Lord continue to bring vitality, prosperity, strength, and union to the beautiful countrysides of Appalachia!! In Jesus Holy name I pray, we Praise Him in all His glory, Amen! Thank you so much to God, all the wonderful citizens and Pastors that made it possible, Oliver Anthony Music, Little Ozzy, Davisson Brothers Band, Willa May, and Leeds Lyric Jones🙏🏼❤️🥰🐶🤟🏼
I was lucky enough to experience this event. I am so glad that God revealed his purpose for you Chris. You really started something, a movement. Society today really needs a community like this. I fear as a mom of two young girls, that they will grow up disconnected from humanity in this ever advancing technological world. We are caring too much about virtual reality and less about God’s reality. As the stewards of this land we are doing a real shit job at that. Regeneration is the only way to fix our land and the treatment of our animals. I truly applaud what you are doing and I hope to be a part of this movement in creating a better community and a better future for our children.
It's been a blessing for me for sure, I've been coming down for a week at a time from Pennsylvania I have a small Tree Business up here. The next one will be my 7th trip down and I'll continue for the duration, so being Baptized in the middle of the street right there and Spruce Pine, North Carolina was more of a blessing for me than you'll ever know! I appreciate you guys, I hope Chris liked the pieces that I carved him out of a Whitetail Antler, and I hope I get to see you guys somewhere else on this little project and that God blesses you to get through to as many people as you can.
This is a fantastic story...about fantastic people. We can all be inspiring and we can realize our limitations or we can bathe in humility and be a part of God's handywork. I knew bits and pieces of this story and am grateful for the unconventional style and pray it continues to be contagious. It seems we have to choose convention and contrived mechanisms of modern society...or we can be principle-driven and work towards the reason God made us 😇🤗😎❣️
Hearing ya! Which is why it's a bit strange to have an interview with Jordan Peterson here. He's a "combine harvester" for the GOP vote machine! Contrived, Far Right, political radical pretending to be a conservative.
We're all part of one Earth, one universe. In reality, there is no 'right' and 'left' there are simply people with ideas. Most of the time we're just regurgitating talking points we watched on the screen. He types into a screen. At RRP, we're firm believers in listening to all perspectives, and we believe that Jordan Peterson has much of value to communicate.
I am so glad that I got to experience the inaugural RRP. I didn't think I could come because of balance issues that popped up a few weeks prior, but God is good and I'm hardheaded.. I went to help in WNC twice because these folks are our family of Americans.
I felt an almost spiritual movement in my heart the first time I heard Chris sing. His songs could move me to tears, and I'm not a cryer. It's His level of passion and subject matter that just CONNECTED! Apparently, quite a few of us feel the same way. My family's been here since before the Revolutionary War..I practice homesteading on a micro level (bigger dreams, Joel Salatin)
I also found myself getting baptized in the street in Spuce Pine NC. I have never been baptized even though I have been a Christian for decades. After the last two years, and seeing Helene's devastation, I know tomorrow isn't promised. It just felt so right, and up I went.. So glad I did, can't wait to see what lies ahead for the Chris, his team, and the RRP. 🇺🇲💪
I love what you guys are doing. I hope to make it to one of your events in the future. You are all truly an inspiration. God bless you all
A new event will be announced very soon :)

Thanks for sharing Chris. It was a privilege to be a small part of it.
Hey Chris, I think she was my "Baptism Sister"! Making connections IRL at RRP! What a weekend!
I love what you all are doing and long to bring that to my rural community in Western Australia

I so wanted to come to this event. However, I have a disability, and can't stand for long lengths of time.
I am so glad this was a success, and pray that going forward you will be blessed by the grace of God.
Thank you, Mr. Chris.
God moves in a mysterious way,
His wonders to perform.
He plants his footsteps in the sea
And rides upon the storm.
Deep in the dark and hidden mines,
With never-failing skill,
He fashions all his bright designs
And works his sov'reign will.
-William Cowper (1774)

What a beautiful sentiment Cindi.
God is great.
Yes He is! Blessings to you!
Your momma is right. And saving that cat caught in the neighbor's engine block might've been the real start of this journey.

Yes indeed Betsy. Regeneration is the answer. Fertility. Coaxing life from the soil. Let's treat God's creation with the honor it deserves.
Good stuff. Ty

Keep up the good work brother! I will be attending one of these revivals. This is what this country needs, for the "nobodies" to stand up!

Thanks for the kind words EJay. Principles are a vital guide for us all. Principles based in enduring truth.

We sing your songs often and I will say they are the only deep songs that everyone gets !! That’s special gift
Baptisms. God. Revival.
I'm for all of this and that.

Thanks for coming out Karen, thanks for sharing your story. What a beautiful surrender. Baptism. Giving up our life to something bigger, to God.
